Systems Engineer

ASi Networks is a Southern California Managed Services Provider that has been in business for over 21 years. ASi Networks is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer. The successful candidate will design solutions, provide systems maintenance and troubleshooting for our customers. The primary focus of this position is to provide Microsoft and Cisco support including desktop/server operating systems, Active Directory, and Email systems. Client site visits will be required – mostly in Southern California.

We are looking for somebody to add positivity to our successful team with a sense of teamwork and
team spirit. The ideal candidate should bring a combination of knowledge, positive attitude, flexibility and ability to react quickly

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Provide tier 1-3 technical support to our customers.
• Configure, install Servers, including Windows/VMWare/Storage Systems
• Configure Windows Domains/Active Directory.
• Perform proactive maintenance on systems.
• Troubleshoot live issues affecting network connectivity.
• Work with ISP’s to troubleshoot WAN connectivity issues.
• Deploy Network equipment, including Cisco Switches/Routers/Firewalls
• Document new and existing systems (procedures and diagrams).
• Maintain best practices in customer’s IT environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

The ideal candidate must possess an understanding knowledge of networking including VLANs, TCP/IP,
switches, routing, firewalls, VPN, Windows networking, and WLAN. In addition, the candidate must have
3-5 years’ experience with the following:

• Windows Server 2003-2019
• Windows client XP-10.
• Active Directory
• Group Policy
• Microsoft Exchange 2003-2019 / Office 365
• Knowledge of POP/SMTP/IMAP
• Work with mobile devices, primarily email setup
• UPS installs
• Basic understanding of firewall/router/switches/wireless
• Server and network equipment install in server/telco rack.
• Previous experience designing Cisco LAN/WAN.
• Virtualization technologies, including VMWare/Hyper-V

Director of Managed Services

ASi Networks is a Southern California Managed Services Provider that has been in business for over 21 years. The Director of Managed Services will provide critical support to managing a team of engineers with product implementations and established customer accounts.  This position will be hands-on with current technologies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage and build a high-performance IT engineering team
  • Create a team culture focused on process improvement as well as professional development
  • Project management and implementation
  • Setting policies, procedures and goals for Engineers in the maintenance and management of customers IT environments
  • Maintaining the Company’s internal software monitoring applications
  • Manage and maintain internal and external documentation in IT Glue and ConnectWise
  • Responsible for scheduling other engineers on projects and maintenance accounts
  • Develop Statements of Work
  • Create Project Bill of Materials
  • Configuration and management of DATTO back up and recovery techniques
  • Local Travel will be required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

  • Minimum of 5 years of related IT field work in one or more of the following:  Server, VW-Ware, Switch, Route, wireless, voice and security
  • BA/BS in Information Technology or other relevant major preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Visio capable of creating complex diagrams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Must have strong customer support orientation (for internal/external customers), demonstrated professional demeanor, and the ability to maintain confidential information
  • Must have strong skills in organization and planning, demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and problem solving
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and changing environment

Business Manager

The Business Manager will provide critical executive-level support to the President and Directors on all financial and administrative operations.  This will include fiscal analysis, overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, and implementing processes to increase efficiency and improve financial reporting and results.  In addition, the Business Manager will lead other critical business areas as follows:  Human Resources, Marketing, Website, Risk Management, and Corporate Events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Establishing and maintaining the Company’s financial policies and procedures by providing operational administrative direction to the various departments
  • Maintaining the Company’s financial structure and coordinating the Company’s relationships with financial institutions, vendors, and customers
  • Managing all accounting functions including, but not limited to: General Ledger, Payroll, Sales Tax, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Billing
  • Calculate monthly sales commissions along with quarterly and annual bonuses
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and analyze the financial results
  • Reviewing working capital on a regular basis and monitor the Company’s cash flow
  • Directing and coordinating the Company’s annual year-end financial results with Tax CPA
  • Managing the Company’s business insurance policies
  • Managing Human Resources to assure quality services and promote positive employee relations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) 

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting and managerial experience
  • BA/BS in Business, Finance, Accounting or other relevant major preferred
  • Strong knowledge in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll Processes, etc.
  • Technical and comprehensive knowledge of finance, financial planning, and accounting areas of a business (understanding of GAAP preferred)
  • Excellent computer skills including all MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Must have strong customer support orientation (for internal/external customers), demonstrated professional demeanor, and the ability to maintain confidential information
  • Must have strong skills in organization and planning, demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and problem solving
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and changing environment
